Good post Frankie.

I use to be President of the St. Leonards' Society on London ON. I quicly learned how incongruent the criminal justice system is.

It has two purposes.... one to rehabilitate... the other to punish.... two diametrically opposed purposes.

For me the Catalyst to the organization was the Executive Director we hired. As a former Ontario Parole officer he truly understood the sytem, but unlike many of his collegues that worked in the provincial or federal correctional system understood the need for a concruent approach to the successful integration of the offender back into society.

Congruence her is the key word. From my philisopical point of view you can only be travelling in 3 directions. Convergence, (Implodes) Divergence (Disintegrates) and Congruence (Lines of integrity) supports itself to it's destination!
