Hey Folks, I will be on the road for the month of April, just Dan and I in a Ford Pickup, driving  from Toronto, Canada thru New Mexico, Arizona, California, Utah, Idaho and South Dakota. I  will be visiting the Grand Canyon of course, Sedona, Don Henley’s statue in Winslow Arizona, the 4 corners, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone Park, The badlands, Monument Valley, San Diego, Santa Fe, Albaquerque, Taos, Gooding, Provost, Rapid City..to name a few of the places we KNOW we will be going..Imagine all the ones we DON’t!!!!

For the first few weeks and the last one, we will be like tumbleweeds, wherever the wind blows us.. The we will be off visiting  with family as well as some of the great guests who have been on my show these past few years.  For now, please be patient if I am not as responsive as I normally am.

Dan and I love Westerns and like to imagine if we could have been like  the pioneers who journeyed through this land when there were no roads and many obstacles in their way. We are amazed at their courage and unstoppable natures that allowed them to travel the same route we are, heading WEST in the heat and cold, sleeping on the ground, eating by an open fire. Certainly none of the comforts that we will be enjoying… It is a daunting journey by car, but even more so when you consider these amazing folks did it on horseback or by cart. We both doubt we are that tough..

Dan figures we have to average about 3 hours per day to make sure that we get back home in a month….we figure we will be driving somewhere along the lines of 5000 plus miles… in 4 weeks.
