Bet you didn't know the Unstoppable Frankie Picasso is also a DRUMHER.. that's right a female drummer. Frankie and her co host, Drummer Johnny Collin, will be hosting the Frankie and Johnny Music Hour, a new show that is all about Music and Musicians.
MONDAY's will take on a whole new meaning. 8:00 pm EASTERN.. join at www.blogtalkradio.com/frankie–johnny to listen, speak your mind or join us in our chat room.
We will be introducing you to talented musicians you may or may not have heard of, we will be interviewing recording industry representatives and showing you how to break into the music BIZ.
If you are a professional musician who is looking for a BAND or a single player, please call in and let us know. We will help hook you up.
Our first guest up is the multi talented A.J. Croce, Adrian James Croce, who is touted by David Wild of Rolling Stone Magazine as one of our greatest young songwriters” and in singing, songwriting, and musicianship. He states that A.J. delivers the goods. I happen to agree.
A. J.'s Music is as eclectic as the man and it is an undefinable mix of jazz, blues, pop, funk and something that is pure A.J. The son of the late great Jim Croce, A.J. may have inherited his father's musical talent, but his style and sound are all his own. He has shared the stage with the likes of Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Santana, Willie Nelson, Dave Mathews, Ben Harper, Lyle Lovett, Rod Stewart, Morphine, B.B. King, recorded with folks like David Hidalgo of Los Lobos, Ry Cooder, Can, Robben Ford,Waddy Wachtel and jazz legend Ron Carter and has appeared on Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, Austin City Limits, Good Morning America, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and much more.
Tonight, Frankie & Johnny will take you backstage with A.J.Croce, both the man and his music.
