This week on Mission Unstoppable Radio, www.blogtalkradio.com/missionunstoppable at 8:00 pm EDt, the Unstoppable Coach Frankie Picasso is joined by fellow Life Coach and social justice advocate Lisa Scott, who along with her husband Dennis, are responsible for organizing the Owen Sound Emancipation Celebration Festival for the past 9 years.
The event, now in its 147th year has the attention, dedication and hearts of the Scott Family, whose ancestry dates back to those first slaves who found freedom and a new life in Owen Sound, Canada. Lisa and Dennis, who own a consulting company, have 5 children who are proud of their father's heritage and distinction of being a 5th Generation Black Canadian.
Dennis and Lisa took over the planning and organizing of the festival in 2000 and are responsible for its present day format.
