In the blink of an eye, our lives can be changed forever and no one knows this better than Gil Ahrens. When a happy family event turned into a devastating accident, the Ahrens Family was forever changed. Hit by a drunk driver head on, Gils car was torn in half, his baby daughter and sister, amazingly unscathed but his wife Kim, 3 weeks post cesarian, suffered a broken neck and sure paralysis. Gil's own foot was mangled and they needed the jaws of life to remove him from the car, but time seemed to stand still while waiting for help to arrive. Gil used that time to pray and ask God to help his family survive the ordeal .

This is their story of struggle, suffering, conflict and ultimate faith that kept them moving forward with humor, hope and love.
